Taoism: The Waterlily and the Butterfly

So our philosophy teacher wanted us to make a painting about Taoism. You will see below my interpretation of my painting named 'The Waterlily and the Butterfly'

Taoism for me, is that you gain wisdom by appreciating nature. The white pinkish waterlily represents our innocence and purity. The butterfly represents people, change, and experiences. In my painting, the flower represents, us--our innocence when we we're young. See where the waterlily floats? It's floating on the water. Anytime, we could drown deep in the water.  When it starts to rain, it creates ripples which can move the waterlily and the ripples here represents our decisions. Hence, the water represents the flow of life. 
The butterfly represents the people we encounter, and the experience you shared with them. The bright colors represents the positive side of the butterfly, which shows the nice attribute and the dark lines represents their darkness, and mystery. Anytime, a butterfly could visit you and gives you experiences but not all of them will give you happiness.  
The Taoism here in the waterlily and butterfly is that--the balance in the relationship in them. The yin is the water because it represents hardships but that is where you grow as a waterlily--which is the good side. The yang is the butterfly. The butterfly has a role in pollination, and in that pollination process, the flower gains something and that is knowledge--the experiences, influences and people but not all of them are good because not all of them are nice, some of them are those who might destroy the flower. 
And the 'Dao' here is the waterlily because it's 'the One', 'the way' and 'the truth' because the flower here just goes with the flow, and every ripples, its just goes with the flow. Whether it meets bad or good  'butterfly' , it accepts it and the changes it made because we can't force the nature to brings us only good stuff, but we need 'bad part' in order for us to learn things.
That's life.
